Coco’s family rushed him to us after he had suffered the misfortune of being hit by a car. Dr. Singh examined him to ensure that the poor little pup was stable. Following the physical exam, radiographs were taken and bloodwork was completed. Through diagnostics, Dr. Singh was able to determine that Coco was not bleeding internally, he did, however, have numerous broken bones in both of his rear extremities. The damage in one of his legs was so severe that the leg had to be amputated. Coco pulled through surgery beautifully though and was on all three legs the very same night. Fortunately for Coco, he has a wonderful family that did every they could to take care of him. Coco is doing great and is adjusting to his new life with three legs.
