Radiology (X-Rays)

Digital radiology offers our patients the very highest quality when it comes to images. It is also quick. Many times, you can see the images just a few seconds after we take them. It is also wonderful because if the films are too dark or too light, we can just change the contrast instead of taking more films. This saves us a lot of time and frustration, especially with pets who don’t want their pictures taken.

We often recommend radiographs when your pets are not feeling well. Digital radiology gives us a sharp image of the inside of your pet’s bodies. Exploratory surgery or other invasive measures are not needed.

The images from our digital x-ray unit are amazing, clear, and very helpful in diagnosing problems. This is another way that our hospital is constantly growing to give our patients the best care that veterinary medicine has to offer.

If you have any questions about our digital x-ray unit, be sure to contact us today at (727) 442-9111.

Dermatology

We see all types of skin problems, including fleas and other parasites. We also diagnose allergies and skin infections. Sometimes we see autoimmune diseases and cancers that can lead to skin problems for your pets.

Here at All Pet Care Hospital, we will do everything that we can do to get your pets some relief. However, we have to diagnose their condition first. We are proud to be able to offer dermatologic procedures to help us figure out what is wrong with your pets. We routinely test for allergies and fungal infections. We are also able to do cultures and skin biopsies, if needed.

If your pets are having skin problems and need to be seen, don’t hesitate to contact us today to schedule an appointment. We can be reached at (727) 442-9111.

Tonometry

Ultrasonography

We are proud to offer ultrasound because it is a quick and painless procedure. Ultrasounds are often better than radiographs because they do not give off any harmful radiation. Sound waves are used to look inside your pets, allowing us to diagnose them. The resulting images are better than radiographs, and several conditions can be diagnosed only with an ultrasound.

If you would like to schedule an ultrasound for your pets or if you have any questions, feel free to contact us today at (727) 442-9111.

Nutritional Counseling

Here at All Pet Care Hospital, we are very excited to offer nutritional counseling for pet owners in Clearwater, FL and the surrounding communities.

Nutrition is so important for pets throughout their lives. As animals age, their nutritional needs change. There are puppy, adult, and senior diets to accommodate pet’s changing needs. Then there are also diets made to help pets with certain diseases and conditions. It is important to discuss your pet’s diets with our staff every time you visit our hospital.

A very common problem in pets that needs to be addressed is obesity. Many owners overfeed their pets when they beg. They also like to show their pets their love by feeding them treats. However, obesity can be a real problem. Talk to one of our friendly staff members to get your pets on a diet and exercise plan to get them back on track to a healthier life.

If you are concerned about your pet’s diet, weight, or lifestyle, feel free to contact us today at (727) 442-9111. We would be happy to assist you in any way we can.
